David Miliband set for Shadow Chancellor role?
William Hill are betting on what job David Miliband will have in the Shadow Cabinet.
David issued a rallying call to the Labour conference earlier today, saying the party now had a "great leader" in his younger brother Ed. The shadow foreign secretary, long time favourite for the top job called for party unity but the main talking point is what he will do next.
Hills currently offer 1/2 that he will be the Shadow Chancellor but 5/1 that he decides not to accept any position in the Shadow Cabinet.
"The odds suggest that David is a shoo-in for the Shadow Chancellor job but there is a real chance that he will not put himself forward for any of the shadow cabinet roles," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
William Hill What Job Will David Miliband Do Next: 1/2 Shadow Chancellor, 4/1 Shadow Foreign Secretary, 8/1 Shadow Home Secretary, 16/1 Any Other Shadow Cabinet Position, 5/1 Not In Shadow Cabinet.
