How will the FTSE fare in 2012?
The FTSE 100 has closed for 2011 at 5568 and William Hill have published their predicted prices for how the FTSE 100 will perform in 2012.
Hills latest prices suggest a fairly static year but the good news is that Hills are odds on at 1/2 that the FTSE 100 finishes above 5550.
For the more pessimistic Hills are 13/8 that the Index finishes 2012 below 5550.
"The latest odds do not exactly suggest a bull market in 2012, but it is perhaps reassuring that we believe it is odds on that the FTSE will be trading above 5500 come the end of 2012" said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
Value Of The FTSE 100 Index End 2012: 1/2 Over 5550.00, 13/8 Under 5550.00
