Labour ahead in polls - but Tories still favourites
DESPITE being given a lead over the Tories in a recent Opinion Poll, Labour remain outsiders to win the next General Election with bookmakers William Hill who offer themn at 6/4 to have the greatest number of seats at the next Election and 2/1 to win with an overall majority.
But Hills make the Conservatives 1/2 favourites to have the most seats and 6/4 to win with an overall majority - while the Lib-Dems are unfancied at 25/1 and 80/1 respectively.
WILLIAM HILL OFFER 7/4 THAT THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION WILL PRODUCE ANOTHER HUNG PARLIAMENT.
'A short-term rise in the polls is not unexpected when Labour have recently acquired a new Leader and the Coalition are busy slashing budgets, but whether they will still have a lead when voting next takes place is not so predictable' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
