Labour election odds cut after Poll boost
William Hill have shortened the odds for Labour to be the largest single Party at the next General Election from 6/5 to 11/10, and lengthened the Tories from 8/13 to 4/6 with the Lib Dems at 25/1, following the latest opinion poll results which give Labour a significant lead. However, Hills still make a Hung Parliament the most likely outcome of the next Election, at 13/8 with a
Conservative majority 7/4, Labour 15/8 and Lib Dem 100/1.
'If the Election were due to take place imminently, Labour would be red hot favourites' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills offer 7/2 that there will be a 2011 General Election, but go 6/4 that it will not happen before 2015.
