Punters backing anyone but Tories
The Conservatives are now the longest odds to win an overall majority at the General Election that they have been since 2008.
Bookmakers William Hill have lengthened them from 4/7 to 8/13 favourites, with Labour down from 10/1 to 9/1, and the chances of a Hung Parliament now quoted at 5/4.
"Punters are backing Labour and a Hung Parliament - but won't touch the Tories at the moment, with the result that their odds are out to levels they last touched almost two years ago," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
WILLIAM HILL GENERAL ELECTION ODDS
TO WIN OVERALL MAJORITY > 8/13 Cons; 9/1 Labour; 5/4 Hung Parliament
To Win Most Seats > 1/6 Cons; 7/2 Lab; 80/1 Lib-Dem.
