Monday's Racing Podcast
After Sunday's scintillating triumph in the Prix Jean-luc Lagardere, title-chasing Paul Hanagan has now mastered a contest of the highest calibre with his first Group 1 event aboard Richard Fahey's unbeaten son of Iffraaj, Wootton Bassett.
This fabulous success may not count towards extending his lead against rival Richard Hughes, but it's great to see the northern jockey finally claim such a haul.
Throughout the last week, we here at William Hill have seen continued support in the top-jock race for Richard Hannon's right-hand man, however this could all change due to a seven-day ban picked up at Dunstall Park on Saturday night.
The boys in britches battle again on Monday, with the pair boasting a bumper book of rides at Pontefract and Windsor - it's going to be a right north v south fest, I cannot wait.
Warwick's on too, however the meetings face early-morning inspections due to the recent heavy rains - but hopefully you'll be hearing the vocals of Mick, John Budden and Niall Hannity from 2pm.
