World Championship Snooker - Ian McCulloch
The World Championship snooker is always a highly-charged event, with an electric atmosphere, and snooker professional Ian McCulloch has previewed the opening round of matches as well as analysing the outright odds.
John Higgins is the defending champion after beating Shaun Murphy 18-9 in 2009 and he begins his defence against Barry Hawkins. Ronnie O'Sullivan has won the title three times, but faces the destructive Liang Wenbo in a tricky opener.
One of the most pulsating matches last year was the final frame decider between Higgins and Mark Selby and you can relive that by checking out the video below. Let's hope for more of the same this time around.
