Rugby World Cup 2013: A foregone conclusion?
The RFL has confirmed the 2013 Rugby League World Cup will take place across four countries, an event for which William Hill make current Four Nations Champions, Australia, the red-hot 2/7 favourites.
New Zealand are 7/2 second favourites, while England are 7/1. The next closest competitors are France, Fiji and Samoa, all priced at 100/1.
"Australia produced some fantastic performances while in England during the Four Nations and we are hard pressed to find any team that will be able to stand up to the might of the Kangaroos," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "England's march to the Final, however, confounded early predictions and showed the effect that a home crowd can have on the players."
