Giants will show no mercy to the Saints

An injury-ravaged Saints make their way to Galpharm Stadium for a meeting with Huddersfield.

St Helens could be without ten players for their trip to Huddersfield which is why the Saints are odds against at 13/10 to take the win. Home side Huddersfield have no such problems heading into this match and are 4/7 to win while the draw is priced at 18/1.

After 13 games, both teams are joint top with 18 points on the board, but something has got to give on Saturday and with Leeds so decimated with injuries it could be the visitors descending the table.

Huddersfield's form as of late has somewhat stalled, the Giants recorded losses against Catalan Dragons and Crusaders recently. They will however be looking to bounce back from these defeats and with St Helens having played Hull, Castleford and Wigan all in the last few weeks they may be feeling the effects.

Jamie Foster has escaped injury for this game, the outside back has scored ten tries in 12 appearances this season for Saints. He is 10/1 to score the first try of the game, while you can back him at 10/11 to go over at anytime during the game.

Jermaine McGillvary is the attacking threat for the Giants, he has bagged himself 9 tries in 2011 alone. The winger is 9/1 to score first and with Huddersfield looking to get off to a quick start he may be their go to guy.

Luke O'Donnell is set to make his 200th career start and what better way to mark the occasion with a try. The Australian is 33/1 to score the first try and 10/3 to go over at anytime.

The home team are short favourites on the handicap markets, you can back them to start with a 4 point deduction at 10/11. Given their recent form these does seem to be a bit small.

You can get some added value on our winning margin markets, Huddersfield to take the win by a margin of 1-5 points is 5/1 while Saints to sneak a win by the same margin is 11/2.

The four point handicap does seem pretty good value for Huddersfield but you can take advantage of our alternative handicaps also. St Helens are 1/3 to start with a 12 point advantage while you can back Giants at 9/4 minus 12 points.

For me I like the look of Huddersfield -2 in our first half handicap market at 10/11.

St Helens have been over performing as of late, but their recent run and their injuries at the minute mean that I would be vying for a home win, the match and first half handicap would be my picks for this game.
