Castleford v Catalans | Saturday 18:30 live on Sky Sports 1

With three wins from their opening three matches it is the Castleford Tigers who are surprisingly placed at the summit of the Super League table.

Maximum points from clashes with Wakefield, Huddersfield and most recently Hull KR, sees the Tigers level on points with three other teams but importantly Cas (4/11) have played a game less. New signing Willie Isa is available to make a belated debut at the Jungle as his team bid to stay at the top of the table.

Isa, who can operate on the wing or at centre, has been unable to play due to red tape delays but will make his first start against the Dragons and is priced at 16/1 to score the opening try. When the signing of Isa was announced, Castleford coach referred to the signing as being of a similar size as when the club signed Rangi Chase.

New Zealander Chase is the subject of our Match Winner Offer for this Saturday evening encounter. Titled ‘Chase The Game', William Hill are offering a price of 9/2 that Rangi Chase to score a try and Castleford to win after having trailed by six points or more. With 22 tries in 57 appearances for the Tigers the New Zealander has an impressive strike rate and will be a huge danger to the Catalans defence.

The Dragons (2/1) have enjoyed a more subdued beginning to the campaign than their lofty opponents. With just one win from four opening games, they occupy eleventh place in the Super League ladder. The men from Perpignan triumphed on their last venture onto English soil, returning from Hull with a 31-8 victory over the Kingston Rovers. The Dragons trailed 18-16 at one point in the second half but showed great courage to fightback and win. The double result of Castleford/Catalans pays out at 9/1.

Coach Trent Robinson is still without Thomas Bosc and Vincent Duport through injury but will be able to call on Clint Greenshields and Jean Philippe Baile who are back in the squad.

The recent history between the sides will give both coaches reason to believe they will triumph. Castleford have won four of their last five meetings with the Dragons but interestingly, Catalans have won on three of their last five visits to the Jungle.

My recommendation for this match is for Nick Youngquest to score the opening try at 10/1.
