Wolves face Giants again in the Challenge Cup

Carnegie Challenge Cup holders Warrington Wolves have a fifth round draw against the Huddersfield Giants in a repeat of the 2009 Wembley final.

Warrington are 7/1 to reach the final and win the cup for the second successive time, the same odds available for Huddersfield to avenge the 2009 defeat and go on to lift the famous trophy.

Two further all-Super League clashes were drawn out of the pot on Sunday evening. It's Wales versus France as the Crusaders welcome the Catalans Dragons to Wrexham and St Helens face an earlier Challenge Cup trip to London than they were hoping to play Harlequins RL.

St Helens have been installed as the 7/2 joint second favourites to win the cup they last won in 2008. At the same price are the team that once won the trophy eight times in a row and were the last to beat St Helens in a Challenge Cup final.

Local arch-rivals Wigan Warriors will be looking to transfer their Super League form to the Cup and are 7/2 to achieve a record 18th title, their first since defeating St Helens at Murrayfield back in 2002. The Warriors next opponents are Widnes who have won the cup seven times in their history, the last back in 1984 at Wembley with a 19-6 defeat of Wigan.

The bookmakers have Leeds Rhinos as the 9/4 favourites to win the 2010 Carnegie Challenge Cup, presumably as they feel they will concentrate on cup success this year to take attention away from their sorry start to the Super League season. That said, I'm not sure how much of a replacement a Wembley win would be if the side were still out of the play-off positions. They should at least make it past Blackpool in the next round.

The story of the fourth round was Championship-side Barrow's defeat of Super League's Castleford at the Jungle. Their reward is a favourable home tie against Championship 1 leaders Hunslet Hawks and can be backed at 80/1 to win at Wembley or each-way at one third odds to make the final.
