Bath can fend off the Warriors
Bath entertain Glasgow Warriors in a clash between two teams that are flying high in their respective domestic leagues.
Glasgow have lost their first two Heineken Cup matches and Bath are chalked up as warm 1/9 favourites in the match betting with the Scottish side at 5/1.
Bath have not been prolific in attack but are very solid in defence having only conceded 25 points in their first two pool matches including a narrow two point loss to runaway leaders Toulouse.
Glasgow have shipped a lot more points and will need to tighten up their defence if they are to have a chance of victory against the English side.
The fact that Bath don't seem to score a huge amount of points makes the 15 point head start they are giving Glasgow on the handicap seem quite large.
While the Scottish side are unlikely to win they are more than capable of keeping Bath's likely victory to a narrow margin making the 10/11 about Glasgow +15 more appealing than Bath at 10/11 giving up 15 points.
A tight match make the winning margins betting appealing with Bath winning by 1-5 points 17/2 and 6-10 points 13/2.
Bath welcome back Michael Lipman and Matt Stevens from international duty and with Danny Grewcock also returning Bath's pack has a much more solid look to it and will ensure the Warriors will have a hard afternoon.
South African fly-half Butch James will dictate things for Bath and he can be backed at 20/1 to score the first try.
Glasgow are not short of talent however and speedy brothers Thom and Max Evans can give the Bath defence something to think about and the duo are 14/1 and 16/1 respectively to go over first.
The Warriors need to win this match to have any hope of pool qualification but Bath are looking to make up ground on Toulouse who sit pretty at the top of the pool and victory should go to the English side but the margin of victory is unlikely to be large in what looks to be a tighter game than the handicap suggests.
Glasgow + 15 on the handicap - 10/11
Bath to win by 6-10 points - 13/2
