England on the drift - Wales backed for glory

England have drifted in the betting for who will win the Six Nations from an original 11/4 they are out to 9/2 with Wales (5/2) and France the 11/8.

The first weekend of games schedules two great matches with England 8/15 to beat Scotland, whilst Ireland are 4/9 to beat Wales . William Hill rate Stuart Lancaster as their 7/4 second favourite to get the job as Permanent England head-coach, behind Jim Mallinder who is the 1/1 favourite

"England are friendless in the Six Nations betting, drifting all the way out to 9/2. Whilst Wales are the punters choice and after their excellent World Cup, you can see why," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
