England World Cup odds lengthened after Wales walloping
Following their drubbing by Wales, England's Rugby World Cup odds have been lengthened from 11/1 to 12/1 by William Hill.
‘I isn't usually wise to read too much into pre-tournament results, but England's display was so disappointing we felt it warranted a lengthening of their odds' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
And Hills are betting on whether a number of England stars will get to start in the opening World Cup game against Argentina, or may miss out, with Jonny Wilkinson 2/1 to get the nod, while Manu Tuilagi is a 5/2 shot and Riki Flutey 11/10.
