Front row to dominate the Wallabies
In recent times the English pack, most notably the front row, have dominated their Australian counterparts.
And with Martin Johnson recalling Phil Vickery at the expense of Matt Stevens at tight head it once again looks to be part of the English game plan for Saturday's match against Australia at Twickenham.
Johnson was generally pleased with last week's display against the Pacific Islanders. At the same the Wallabies were narrowly beating Italy in Padua.
Here at William Hill we think the teams are so closely matched that on our main handicap both teams are off scratch.
However, with the English forwards likely to dominate again a home victory looks like the one to back. To get a bit more value it is wise to back England (-5) on our alternative handicaps market at odds of 11/8.
With the front row set to dominate a small punt on either market outsider, Andrew Sheridan or Phil Vickery, at odds of 10/1 to score a try could be a shrewd move.
