Scotland for unconvincing win
Scotland are clear favourites to win their match against Canada on Saturday but it may be tighter than expected.
Scotland are far from impressive in international rugby union, therefore Canada on the handicap with a 31 point start looks appealing priced at 10/11.
Canada were thumped 55-0 two weeks ago by Ireland but, last week, Wales only managed a 34-13 victory.
Most people would agree that Frank Hadden’s Scotland are an inferior side to Wales, so the Scots could struggle to cover the handicap.
Last week, Scotland battled bravely, but narrowly lost 14-10 to South Africa, and the week before a second string All Blacks demolished them, 32-6.
The best news for Scottish fans to come out of last week’s match was a try, their first at Murrayfield for over a year!
Even though the handicap looks out of reach, the weak opposition should ensure Scotland score a few tries.
Captain and scrum-half Mike Blair looks decent value at 5/2 to score a try.
