Will Henson make a muppet of himelf in the Six Nations?
Gavin Henson has joined the Six Nations preliminary 40 man Welsh squad and, despite having only made two appearances in 21 months, William Hill are offering 11/4 that he starts the first game of the competition against England. Hills are also offering 33/1 that he is the top try scorer in this year's Six Nations.
Henson is Even money to make an appearance in the World Cup this year and 12/1 that any ex-Rugby Union player wins Strictly Come Dancing 2011.
"There are many who feel that Gavin Henson's 80-odd minutes in two years does not justify making the squad, however, his preliminary call up goes a long way in highlighting the dire straits that Welsh rugby finds itself in at the moment," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
England are 15/8 favourites to win the Six Nations having been priced at 5/2 before the autumn internationals. Previous favourites France, are 5/2 from 9/4 and Ireland are 3/1.
"Following the Autumn Internationals, England head into the Six Nations with confidence and things are starting to look rosy for Martin Johnson's men."
