China Open 2010 draw and scores
The China Open is a major ranking tournament in the professional snooker calendar.
It was revived in 2004/05 due to the rise of popularity in China. It is down to this rise in popularity that an extra wildcard round has been included before the first round proper to allow China's top sixteen players to have a chance of making the first round proper.
It is the final ranking event before the World Championship so the last opportunity the big names get to hone their skills before the climax of the snooker calendar.
The China Open is notoriously hard to predict with the huge amount of air-miles involved for the players involved.
Peter Ebdon is the defending champion after beating John Higgins 10-8 in last year's final and goes in as top seed this year. Most of snooker's big names are set to battle it out for a share of the £300,000 prize fund in what should be a thrilling tournament.
