In-form Selby hopes to dismiss former champion Hendry
Premier League Snooker returns to the Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton on Sea on Saturday night, as six times champion Stephen Hendry attempts to beat Mark Selby.
Following this match will be the second semi-final: defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan plays Joe Perry and the winners will advance to the final which is scheduled for Sunday evening.
Semi Finals - 19:30 Saturday 6th December
Mark Selby v Stephen Hendry - Mark Selby is undefeted in this season's Premier League campaign and is priced at 2/5 to beat Hendry and progress to the final. Stephen Hendry at 7/4 looks tempting but with the recent form of the Jester from Leicester, it would be a brave man who backs Hendry.
Ronnie O'Sullivan v Joe Perry - Ronnie has claimed this title for the previous four years and the prices for the match against Joe Perry indicate it's going to be an uphill climb for "The Gentleman" who is priced at 5/2 for the victory against the champion. At 2/7 in the betting for the match, Ronnie is short - and the best bet in snooker this evening may be the Selby/O'Sullivan favourites double.
A£20 double at 2/5 and 2/7 would return in the region of £36.00
The favourite in the betting to claim the Premier League crown is currently Ronnie O'Sullivan, whose odds are 10/11.
Final - 19:30 Sunday 7th December
