McCulloch ponders over the quarter finals

Snooker professional Ian McCulloch gives us a call with his thoughts on the UK Championship quarter finals.

He is confident that Mark Williams is the value bet to beat Ali Carter but feels the 8/11 with a 1.5 frame headstart is a wise precaution to take.

Going against the bookies again he feels Marco Fu could beat Joe Perry, who beat Ronnie O'Sullivan to reach the quarters, advising that it will be a close game regardless of the outcome.

John Higgins is his pick to beat Stephen Maguire as Higgins remained solid once he 7-1 lead he took against Ding Junhui last round where many players could have slipped up.
