Ronnie relaxed and ready to rocket at The Crucible
Ronnie O'Sullivan heads the betting for this year's World Snooker Championship at The Crucible in Sheffield.
The World Number 1 is now 9/4 to win his fourth world title and, in the BBC Sports video below, looks relaxed and well prepared for the tournament which can be watched live from the William Hill sportsbook courtesy of BBC Online over the next 17 days.
Of his 31 challengers in Sheffield this weekend he feels that a dozen could win it but reckons his main threat, and the only man other than himself who can raise his game to the level required at the Crucible, is two-time World Champion John Higgins who he could meet in the semi-final.
The Scotsman is 12/1 to win the tournament for the third time, well down in the betting behind Maguire (15/2), Murphy, Carter (both 11/1) and Mark Selby (8/1), the only player in his half of the draw. The pair are destined to play in the quarter finals, a match that could well decide the outcome of the tournament.
Ronnie kicks off the action from Sheffield at 10:00 tomorrow against Stuart Bingham. Bingham is 9/2 to knock out the reigning champion in the first round.
