Shanghai Masters - draw and scores

The Roewe Shanghai Masters is only two years old, but is already seen as an important tournament. The Chinese event kicks off the new snooker season, and the race for vital ranking points starts here.

Held at the Shanghai Grand Stage from 7-13 September, there's a massive £300,000 in the prize-pool, with £55,000 available for the champion. Last year's surprise winner Ricky Walden will be defending his title; but, of course, all eyes will be on world number one and 2008 runner-up Ronnie O'Sullivan, who unsurprisingly starts the tournament as big favourite.

Will 'The Rocket' live up to those pre-tournament odds though? Can current world champion John Higgins start this season in the same way he left the last one? Or will there be another big priced shock winner again? Whoever you think will win, keep your eye on them using the draw below, which will be updated daily throughout the week.
