Can Soderling produce one final shock?

Only one word can sum up the past two weeks of the Mens' French Open Singles tournament at Roland Garros and that is 'wow'.

If you thought it couldn't get anymore dramatic after Rafael Nadal's shock fourth round exit then you were sadly mistaken and the only shame that comes when Robin Soderling meets Roger Federer in Sunday's final is that the tournament has to end.

No matter what the result, Soderling will go down in history for producing one of the most miraculous runs in tennis history; firstly knocking out Nadal and then following up with unbelievable victories over clay court specialists Nicolay Davydenko and Fernando Gonzalez.

The fact that the Super Swede is now a 10/3 shot to beat the great Roger Federer in a grand slam final speaks wonders not only to the man's great form but also his incredible composure.

As for the 'Fed-Express' all he has between himself and immortality is the easiest looking match he could possibly have imagined - although the Swiss legend will surely know better than anyone that you should never underestimate the opposition.

The 1/5 about Federer claiming his first ever French Open title, thus becomming only the sixth man in history to complete a career grand slam, looks great value but, then again, even the bravest man in the world would be scared of betting big after the preceding events of one of the craziest fortnights ever.
