MEGA PUNTER adds Nadal to final bet!

Having staked £120,000 on Djokovic to beat Federer at odds of 1/3, William Hill's ‘Mega Punter' who has backed 26 consecutive winners to make a profit of £161,000 has returned to the betting shop where he has placed all of his bets and added Rafa Nadal to beat Andy Murray at odds of 1/6 to his wager, making it now a win double (at odds of 11/20), potentially returning a profit of £66,000 if both Djokovic and Nadal are victorious.

The customer told us that he wished to add Rafa Nadal to his original wager and we were happy to oblige' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

If the bet is landed he will have made a total profit from all his bets of £227,000. If either of them loses his £120,000 stake will be gone and his overall winnings will be reduced to £40,000.'

A CUSTOMER OF BOOKMAKERS WILLIAM HILL, who is believed to be a Frenchman, has set a new world record by placing 26 successive winning wagers at one of the company's London branches - and has set another by making his 27th and final bet the largest ever gambled on tennis - an amazing £120,000 (135,661 euros) on Rafa Nadal beating Andy Murray, and Novak Djojkovic beating Roger Federer in Friday afternoon's semi finals of the French Open.

In all, the man, in his 30s, has staked a total of £1.8million (2,028,074 euros) over the 27 bets and is currently winning £161,000. If the semi final bet, which he has told staff will be his last, proves successful, he will have made a profit of £227,000 in total.

This is the most incredible betting spree we have ever seen' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘Staff tell us the customer, who had his first bet at the end of March, speaks with a French accent and told them he is hoping to win enough to buy himself a house'
