Top Price Nadal has Hills worried already
William Hill went top price 8/1 on Rafael Nadal the day before the start of the Australian Open and Rafa punters took full advantage with the price offered all day.
Having been largely unpopular in the build up to the tournament, he racked up six figure liabilities during the course of the day.
"Rafa proved to be very popular at 8/1 and he dispelled any underlying injury worries, efficiently dispatching Alex Kuznetsov, dropping just six games," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "It looks like we might have decided to take on the wrong man."
Nadal faces Tommy Haas in the next round of the Open and Hills make him 1/33 to defeat the German.
Roger Federer is also massively odds on to win his match on Wednesday and he is 1/100 to defeat Andreas Beck.
