2/1 For 2012 To Be Wettest Ever Year
After a washout this summer, William Hill are offering 2/1 that 2012 is officially the wettest year on record. 2000 is currently the wettest with 1337.3mm of rain falling UK wide. The current 2012 figure is 1013.8mm.
"It was a good job we all had the Olympics to occupy us this summer because weather-wise 2012 has been miserable and there is every possibility that this year could be the wettest ever," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
