Festive Flutter Frenzy!
Bookies William Hill have been forced to slash the price of a white Christmas in all twenty cities that they are betting on after a festive flutter frenzy over the weekend. The biggest mover in the market is Manchester (Granada Studio) which has been backed all the way in from 6/1 to 7/2 with London now 4/1 half the original 8/1 offered that snow falls on Buckingham Palace on the 25th! The odds suggest you should be heading to Aberdeen to the nation’s best chance of snow at 12/5 with Edinburgh next at 5/2.
“I cannot imagine that we have ever had a busier White Christmas betting weekend, if snow falls across the country on Christmas day there will be NO Christmas cheer in our office,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
