BGT set to win ratings war, will Walliams drop an F bomb?
The Voice and Britain's Got Talent are both due to start this weekend and William Hill are offering 4/11 that the Simon Cowell vehicle draws more viewers on Saturday than the new BBC show (which is 2/1 to win this weekend's ratings war).
Jessie J is currently the 13/8 favourite to be the winning manager of the voice, with Will I Am 5/2, Tom Jones 11/4 and Danny O'Donoghue 4/1.
"The return of Simon will be a massive draw, but on top of that, BGT is a tried and tested formula that the public love," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "The Voice is an unknown quantity and could go either way in our opinion."
Simon Cowell has hinted that he may have to introduce a 90 second delay due to David Walliams' unpredictability although nothing is currently set in stone. William Hill are offering 5/1 that Walliams utters the "F-Word" during one of the live shows.
