Big guns go head-to-head at TV Awards
It is the same old story at the National TV Awards as EastEnders and Corrie AND Strictly, BGT and The X Factor all vie for the top gongs in their categories.
As always, Eastenders and Coronation Street head the betting for best serial drama with the Londoners shading it at 8/11 over their northern counterparts at 5/4.
In the category for best talent show, The X Factor is 1/2 to win the award, while BGT and Strictly are 6/1 and 7/1 respectively.
"It is the same every year as the big two soaps and the big three reality shows all go head to head and it is anybodies' guess as to who will scoop the big awards," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
