Chirs backed to stay against Cowell's wishes!

Simon Cowell has allegedly coached his judges to offer negative comments towards Chris Maloney, but William Hill think that the Scouser may be sticking around for a little while yet.

He is 4/5 to survive for at least the next two weeks. He is 5/2 to go this week and 11/4 to get the boot next week.

Rylan, continues to survive against the odds and William Hill make him 11/4 to be eliminated this weekend, although, given recent controversies, he is 3/1 to be in the bottom two but survive the dreaded chop.

"Not only does Chris Maloney have the full support of the City of Liverpool behind him, he may now also get a few sympathy votes," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

"Rylan on the other hand has stuck around for far too long already but it is thought that the judges could save him once again if he is in the bottom two."

Surprisingly, Lucy Spraggan has been one of the best backed acts to get the X Factor boot this weekend.

The singer-songwriter has been widely celebrated for her originality, although it appears the novelty is wearing thin. She is 10/1 to be eliminated from the show and while the odds suggest that she will be safe, with Christopher Maloney (5/2), Rylan Clark (11/4), Kye Sones (3/1), District 3 (7/1) and Jade Ellis (8/1) all ahead of her in the elimination market, but the money that has come.
