Come and get a piece of Kate and Wills' cake
All eyes are glued to Westminster Abbey with Royal Wedding fever building, and William Hill are reporting a frenzy of wagers on the Nick Gifford-trained horse of the same name engaged in the 5.30 at Fontwell today.
With crowds lining the streets in celebrating the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton it appears the public are also lining the betting shops to partake in a royal flutter, and after receiving strong money at 8-1 earlier in the week the regally-titled equine has halved in price to 4-1 this morning, with William Hill now holding those odds despite heady support.
Lucy Rhodes from William Hill said 'For a mid-week race, the interest in Fontwell's 5.30 has been quite overwhelming with everyone wanting a piece of the Royal Wedding cake.
Despite the Industry facing an eye-watering seven-figure payout we're holding firm the 4-1 so everyone can get involved on Kate and Wills' special day.'
