Dogface ready to maul market rivals
The word 'interesting' is not often associated with Big Brother but I'm sure those who regularly watch will agree that the house is in danger of starting to become just that.
As predicted, long time favourite Freddie (aka Halfwit) now at odds of 2/1 is verging on a fall from grace due to unfavourable edits on the highlights shows and his "romantic" advances at newish housemate Bea.
Freddie has come out with some serious cringe making comments in conversation with her, something that she flagged up and he has now become so much less of a character now he is not up for nomination every week.
After a sensational start, Bea is beginning to make enemies in the house and become unpopular outside also after blatant two-faced displays and an uncanny ability to manipulate the other housemates as she sees fit (not the greatest challenge granted) but this has seen her odds drift out to 20/1.
With or without Bea, Freddie is starting to become teeth-grindingly irritating and it has been brewing over the last few weeks, Siavash and Sophie (aka Dogface) are beginning to mount serious challenges at odds of 11/4 and 4/1 respectively.
Siavash could have come out very well or very badly out of his brief encounter with Noirin and fortunately for him she is gone so he can start to be normal again but he has managed to glean sympathy from a whole nation of voters who believe he was played for a fool.
This may not be enough though to derail the Sophie express who has been backed down from all kinds of big prices to settle nicely at 4/1 third favourite.
Since the odious Kris left and subsequently cheated on her she too has the public sympathy vote but more importantly she has shown her true colours as a sweet, fun loving girl who rarely bitches and is peaking at just the right time to make a charge for the winning post.
We advised her for top female a few weeks ago at 9/4 and she now looks a certainty for that at 2/9 and it could just take one small confrontation where she is the victim but comes out on top for her to be catapulted to the top of the market and if you're looking to invest in the outright market, she looks the bet.
The Charlie and Rodrigo show looks to have calmed down and they have settled with getting on boringly rather than fight entertainingly and Charlie seems to have become house snitch and both will make it to the final couple of weeks but hold little interest at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively.
One to keep an eye on is Marcus who is staging a mini revival as his odds have been cut in to 16/1. While he is without a doubt an utter plank, he came out the best from the whole love triangle situation but there is a hardcore of haters for this odd man who is clearly half mullet and half David Brent.
He may have extended his time in the house a couple of weeks but the moment he is up against one of the market leaders he will most likely have had his chips.
Of the others Lisa still smokes a lot and is becoming even more withdrawn although she has a new friend in the super-gay David whose unhealthy obsession with Vivienne Westwood has fashion designers everywhere running for the hills and their days are numbered and can be backed at 50/1 and 66/1 respectively.
Finally the last housemate (yes there is another one believe it or not) hands down wins the award for most pointless housemate ever in the Big Brother house - step forward Hira who at 80/1 has done nothing since she got in and only appears on the highlights show when she stands in someone else's shot.
Sophie - 4/1
Sophie for top female - 9/4
Freddie to win - 9/1
Marcus to win - 20/1
