Emmy's: Breaking Bad vs Homeland As Downton Relegated To Third!
This year's Emmy awards look like a straight fight between Breaking Bad & Homeland, but the latest odds suggest that Breaking Bad will get the better of its arch rival.
William Hill currently offers 1/3 that Breaking Bad wins the big one (Outstanding Drama Series), whilst Homeland is a 4/1 shot.
Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston is also expected to scoop the gong for Lead Actor (4/6), whilst Homeland's Damian Lewis is his nearest rival at 9/4.
The one bit of good news for Homeland is that Claire Danes looks highly likely to take home the award for Best Actress and she is the 2/7 odds on favourite.
"With the world going Breaking Bad mad, it is no surprise that the odds are working in its favour. We wouldn't underestimate Homeland however and this is set to be a battle to the finish." said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
