Jack Topping 6/1 For Christmas Number One

Jack Topping is set to sing at the Classic Brits on Wednesday and the Choirboy from Liverpool is 6/1 second favourite with William Hill to scoop this year's Christmas number one.

The X-Factor is Even money to have the top festive single although given recent history, where charity singles have topped the charts, it may be worth looking at one of the outsiders. Susan Boyle is singing a duet with Elvis Presley and they are 10/1 to reach number one for Christmas.

"Jack is going to display his magnificent talent at the Classical Brits and there is no doubt that he will wow the crowds and show everyone why he is one of the frontrunners for the Christmas number one slot," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Nicola Benedetti is the 5/2 favourite to win the Album of the Year with William Hill making The Silver Violin 5/2 to bag the award voted for by the public.

Ludovico Einaudi is 4/1 to pick up the award for In A Time Lapse with John Rutter and Catrin Finch rounding off the top three at 6/1.

Classic Brit Awards Album of the Year: 5/2 Nicola Benedetti (The Silver Violin); 4/1 Ludovico Einaudi (In A Time Lapse); 6/1 John Rutter/Catrin Finch (Blessing); 7/1 Andre Rieu (Magic Of The Movies); 7/1 Andrea Bocelli (Opera); 7/1 Katherine Jenkins (This Is Christmas); 8/1 Lang Lang (The Chopin Album); 10/1 Friar Alessandro (Voice From Assisi); 10/1 Joseph Calleja (Be My Love); 12/1 Richard Clayderman (Romantique)
