May The Fourth Be With... Harrison And Carrie?

The (un)official Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you!) is nearly upon us and with three new movies just around the corner, Britain's biggest bookmaker, William Hill are offering odds on who will play the main roles in Episodes 7, 8, and/or 9.

William Hill have been betting on this market since the announcement that there would be another three films and surprisingly, the most money has been for former stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. Ford is 1/10 to return as Han Solo while Fisher is 1/3 to reprise the role of Leia.

Given his Disney connections, Zac Effron is 2/1 favourite to be the next Luke Skywalker, while Sala Baker is 5/4 to be the next Darth Vader.

"The new Star Wars films have created a lot of buzz in cyberspace and the same two names come up over and over again - Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher", said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill offer 100/1 that the US President or the UK Prime Minister confirm the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life by next (un)official Star Wars Day.
