National TV Awards: Corrie and EastEnders battling it out again
The TV Awards winners will be announced on Wednesday the 26th and William Hill have opened betting on eight of the categories.
The hottest contested category sees the annual Corrie vs. EastEnders head to head. EastEnders is 8/13 to scoop the Best Serial Drama award, while Coronation Street is 6/5. Additionally Simon Cowell takes on himself in the Best Talent Show with X-Factor 2/9 and Britain's Got Talent 5/1.
I'm A Celebrity is the 1/4 favourite to win Best Entertainment Show while Big Brother, which bowed out in the summer, is the 9/2 second favourite.
"There was some fantastic TV in 2010 and the NTAs look set to be very keenly contested. Every year Corrie and Easties go head to head and we are finding it difficult as usual to separate the two," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "2010 was also dominated by Talent shows although that category looks as though it is a straight shootout between X-Factor and BGT."
Hills are also offering Special doubles for X-Factor, I'm A Celebrity and Big Brother. For X-Factor to win Best Talent Show and Dermot O'Leary to win Best Entertainment Presenter is 14/1, while Big Brother is 50/1 to win Best Entertainment Show and Davina McCall to win Best Entertainment Presenter.
