Olly's fall from grace to be completed

All change last week as the market leader found himself in the bottom two and by far the most entertaining act X Factor has ever seen Jedward got eliminated turning this now in to a...singing contest?!

Yes, they're finally out, the woeful singing, bizarre dancing leprechauns that are John and Edward have left the clutches of Simon Cowell and may now be destined for the jungle in I'm A Celebrity..., yes they are apparently celebrities now worthy of mixing with the likes of Kim Woodburn and Sabrina Washington (lucky them).

So a re-jig of the market has taken place which now has Joe McElderry as 6/4 favourite which looks fair as he is yet to have a bad week, has all round likability and as soon as the woeful Lloyd Daniels gets the boot (which he must do soon?!), all his votes could logically transfer to Joe.

While he no doubt has an army of female fans, Olly Murs has been discovered for what he is, a mediocre singer who can bodypop a little bit to songs in which it is as appropriate as a fart at a funeral. This loveable Essex lad has been pushed out to 3/1 for outright glory or 6/1 for elimination this week.

Those who think that Olly's appearance in the bottom two is irrelevant should take note that no one who has finished in the bottom two has EVER gone on to win X Factor, so by powers of deduction, the only two that have a chance of winning are Joe and Stacey Solomon who is 9/4 for victory.

Stacey can sing for sure but Simon Cowell has made it publicly known he doesn't want a girl winning again but does Simon really get what he wants or am I overestimating his powers of persuasion?

Either way, Joe and Stacey are both available at 16/1 to get the boot and despite there having been a series of shocks in this year's X Factor, these two should cruise through to the last four.

Now, that leaves by far the worst singer, Lloyd who is 4/6 to go and probably the most unpopular contestant but probably the best singer, Danyl who is 9/4 to leave. Lloyd by all rights should be out this time but his fan base as we are discovering is massive with teenage girls all over the country multi-voting to keep him in and Danyl seems to have turned a corner since the controversy of the last few weeks which could see him safe again.

So, to solve this riddle let's have a look at the song choices which seem to have been so key as the weeks have gone on. Olly came a cropper with "Fast Love" in George Michael week and is it he who looks vulnerable in Elton John and Take That week - he has been given "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" and "Love Ain't Here Anymore" - two of the less obvious choices from both artists.

Danyl could steal the show with "Your Song" while just imagine how many young girls are going to think that Lloyd is singing "Million Love Songs" to them?

Everyone thought Olly has this sewn up but the fact he was in the bottom two last week shows his fan base is not as bit as people thought and with these choices it could be curtains for him and a bet on 6/1 to be eliminated looks a good shout as Lloyd continues to slip through the net thanks to his fans and while Danyl improves, with no bottom two and with no twins to be the fall guys, it could be Olly who will complete his rapid fall from grace.

Olly to be eliminated - 6/1
