Oscars: Adele And Angelina To Be The Stars Of 2013 Show!
Forget Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence, Ben Affleck and even Daniel Day Lewis because William Hill think that Angelina Jolie and Adele will steal the show on the Academy's big night! Adele is the 1/9 red hot favourite to win the Best Original Song Oscar and the famously down to earth singer is 5/1 for the excitement to get to her and swear in her acceptance speech. "Adele at the Oscars is going to be like Julia Roberts at the Opera and she might just let slip a word or two she will later regret!" said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
Angelina Jolie caused much mirth after her Oscar pose (her right leg out) went viral and William Hill think she might go with the other leg this time round. They are offering 4/7 that she goes with the left leg, 2/1 the right and 11/2 she does the double split.
Argo is one of the biggest movers in Oscar betting history and is now 1/6 to win Best Film, having originally been well behind Lincoln in the betting. In the absence of Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg is 1/5 for Best Director, whilst Daniel Day-Lewis & Anne Hathaway are 150 to win their statues!
"There are some very strong favorites for many of the major Oscars this year with only the Best Supporting Actress &Best Supporting Actor looking difficult to call!" said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
