Oscars: Argo Set To Win Best Picture & Bond Best Song!

Argo continues to be the hot film of the awards season & William Hill expect more of the same in Tinseltown . Argo is now the standout favourite to win Best Picture at 1/5 having been a massive 7/1 on the 1st January.

"We have not seen so much momentum for a film since the Hurt Locker, which was originally quoted at a 5/1 and went on to win the big one," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

The two certainties of the Oscars are Daniel Day Lewis (Best Actor) & Anne Hathaway (Best Supporting Actress) both of whom are 1/50 to win. In the absence of Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg is 1/5 to win Best Director. Tommy Lee Jones is Evens to win Best Actor with Jennifer Lawrence 8/13 for Best Actress.

Bond fans will be pleased to know that Skyfall is now 1/9 to win the Best Original Song Gong!
