Pack Your Shorts...It’s Christmas!
With the hope of a White Christmas fading, William Hill have pushed out the price of a White Christmas in all areas of the UK except Scotland. London is out to 6/1 from 4/1, while Manchester has gone from 5/1 to 7/1.
In Scotland, however, the chance of snow remains and Aberdeen is offered at 7/4 with Hills, while Edinburgh is 2/1 and Glasgow 5/2.
Instead, William Hill have been forced to cut the odds of this Christmas being the warmest ever (from 16/1 to 10/1) with long term forecasts predicting a mild Christmas Day over much of the country.
"Sadly, it looks as if we will have to wait at least 12 more months for a White Christmas and we could be in shorts for Christmas rather than our snow boots," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Snow on Christmas Day: 7/4 Aberdeen; 2/1 Edinburgh; 5/2 Edinburgh; 5/1 Newcastle; 6/1 Belfast; 6/1 Leeds; 6/1 London; 7/1 Birmingham; 7/1 Dublin; 7/1 Liverpool; 7/1 Manchester; 8/1 Bristol; 8/1 Cardiff
