Petrol Price To Plunge In Second Half Of The Year?
Bookmakers, William Hill, think that the furor surrounding the recent potential petrol price fixing scandal could force the cost of fuel down throughout the remainder of the year.
With the latest average price (19th April AA report) standing at 136.9ppl, it is 4/6 that figure stands at 135.9ppl or lower by December 2013.
"It may not be much cause for celebration given recent revelations, but the uproar surrounding the potential price fixing affair could well force the price down by a couple of pence over the course of the next seven months," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
