Cowell Certain To Return To X-Factor Next Year... James Arthur To Be Dumped On Scrapheap Shortly

American Idol's viewing figures have plunged and William Hill think that Simon Cowell will give up on his American Dream and return to the UK. With Gary Barlow leaving the panel next year, Simon is 1/8 to return to the UK version of the show in 2014 (9/2 not to).

Last year's winner, James Arthur has certainly not been backwards in coming forwards in light of his views about male X-Factor winners. Given that his album sold fewer records in its first week on the shelves than Matt Cardle, William Hill think that pretty soon he will regret his comments. He is 3/1 to be dropped from Simon Cowell's SyCo record label in 2014 and 5/4 to be ditched in 2015.

"James Arthur has been creating enemies with former male winners of the X-Factor, but he would be best advised not to burn too many bridges," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "Should sales fail to improve, he could be on the 'scrapheap' with others before long."

Sam Bailey is the 5/4 favourite to win the X-Factor, in fact she is a shorter price to win the show than Sam Callaghan is to be eliminated this weekend (6/4).

When will James Arthur be dropped by SYCO records?

I'm A Celeb Final 12: Joey Essex Or Steve Davis To Win

William Hill believe they now know who is going into the jungle and their list of who is going to win has been whittled down to just 12 names.

Joey Essex is the 7/4 favourite to win the show, with Steve Davis 11/2 and Kian Egan 6/1.

Lucy Pargeter, Rebecca Adlington and Vincent Simone all follow on 9/1 while the rest of the field are 10/1 or bigger.

"We have seen plenty of money in the last 10 days or so, presumably based on rumours and inside knowledge and now the celebs have started to touch down in Oz, Joey Essex and Steve Davis are the ones to watch," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

I'm A Celebrity 2013: 7/4 Joey Essex; 11/2 Steve Davis; 6/1 Kian Egan; 9/1 Lucy Pargeter; 9/1 Rebecca Adlington; 9/1 Vincent Simone; 10/1 Alfonso Ribeiro; 12/1 Matthew Wright; 25/1 Amy Willerton; 25/1 Annabel Giles; 25/1 Laila Morse; 33/1 David Emmanuel

Susanna Reid Backed To Win Strictly Come Dancing - Is She The New Kaplinsky?

After this weekend's Strictly the odds suggested that it was a three horse race between Natalie, Sophie and Abbey, but after a flurry of bets in the last 48hrs, Susanna Reid has been cut from 9/1 to 5/1 and she could yet steal the show.

"Susanna is the new Natasha and she could easily go on to win this year's show," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
