Splash odds-on to dash after just one series
Having been roundly panned after its opening night, Splash is 1/2 with William Hill to fail to return for a second series next year.
It is 33/1 for the show to be axed before the end of this current series.
"The Twittersphere was ablaze with inflammatory comments about Splash on Saturday night and the show will have to improve in order to pull in more viewers," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "As things stand, it looks like Splash could be a flash in the pan."
After topping the leaderboard on Saturday, Jake Canuso is 3/1 favourite to win the show, while Anthony Ogogo is 4/1. After becoming a fans favourite with his 10m Swan Dive, Omid Djalili is the 9/2 third favourite.
Splash: 3/1 Jake Canuso; 4/1 Anthony Ogogo; 9/2 Omid Djalili; 6/1 Charlotte Jackson; 7/1 Eddie ‘the Eagle' Edwards; 8/1 Joey Essex; 16/1 Caprice; 16/1 Dom Joly; 25/1 Linda Barker; 40/1 Diarmuid Gavin; 66/1 Tina Malone
