Time for Danni to wave goodbye to Rachel

There will have been plenty of punters who jumped upon the favourite Rikki Loney to go last week and it could be the same story again this week with Rachel Adedji 11/8 to make it third time unlucky.

The public and judges alike have so far done a good job of rewarding X Factor punters with Kandy Rain and Rikki both favourite's to leave in weeks one and two and the market would suggest there is still some chaff to be gotten rid of, before the competition gets more fierce.

The theme this week is 'Big Band' which will have tuxedos and glamour galore as a host of Frank Sinatra, a little bit of Elvis and even some Ricky Martin (thanks evil twins) is belted out for our entertainment.

So, Rachel has been in the bottom two for two weeks in a row and it looks like it will be Danni this week who is losing one of her own, as Rachel attempts to survive for a third week in a row and punters will be piling in to the 8/15 about her being in the bottom two, while 11/8 about her leaving will surely not last long.

Her nearest rivals John and Edward who are 11/4 to go are still growing in popularity and Simon again last week said there was something about them that made him want to watch, they look safe for a few more weeks until it really does become a proper singing competition rather than a popularity one.

Miss Frank got poor comments last week and with Louis now back look vulnerable at 3/1 to go, but they are singing 'That's Life', a great song that everyone will know and if they can do it half way decently then they should be safe.

Lloyd Daniels is also doing a Sinatra song - 'Fly me to the moon' which again as long as he can avoid butchering it he will cruise through once again with his army of teenage fans hammering those phone lines, and once he gets a week with songs that suit his age and style could really start to ruffle the feathers of the market leaders and is best left alone this week at 8/1 to go.

So who will partner Rachel in the bottom two or possibly cause an upset and leave? Miss Frank look the most likely at 4/6 for bottom two, while the other two who could spring a minor shock are Olly Murs (6/1 for bottom two) and Lucie Jones (7/1).

It is almost clutching at straws to make a case for either of these two being in trouble this week but the thinking is Olly, as likeable as he is, is going to have to take the hit one week with Jamie (33/1 to go) and Danyl (66/1) perceived as stronger than him in his category so could it be this week at 20/1?

Lucie meanwhile was slightly disappointing last week in what should have been one of her strongest and the judges do sometimes like to boot out a shock bottom two contestant to encourage more votes (remember Laura White?), so while not the craziest bet at 25/1, if she should end up in the bottom two it is very hard to see her going over Rachel who looks a cert for bottom two at the very least.

Once Rachel (assuming she does go) goes, the competition looks a lot closer with one of the groups most vulnerable and with the twins getting more likeable, Miss Frank could be first to bow out and look a fair shout to be in the bottom two at 4/6 this week.

Lucie or Olly look the most likely to provide a shock for those wanting a bigger priced punt but the smart money is all on Rachel to go  at 11/8 as having come across as not even particularly nice in an interview last week, the judges will be very unlikely to throw her yet another lifeline.

Rachel to be eliminated - 11/8
