We're dreaming of a white Christmas!
William Hill are predicting the busiest week of White Christmas betting of the year as the country gears up for a forecast cold spell.
Following a flurry of bets, Hills have recently trimmed the odds of a White Christmas in every location that they are betting on. If you are looking for a White Christmas, the odds suggest you should get to Aberdeen which is 3/1 although the Queen is 6/1 to see snow at Buckingham Palace on the 25th. Hills offer 25/1 that the lowest recorded temperature in England will be beaten.
"The White Christmas market is our most popular festive flutter and with snow set to come early this year, we are expecting our busiest one yet. Should snow fall on all the locations we bet on there is a chance that the industry could be facing a seven figure payout," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
