Will HRC Pull The Plug On The Boss Again? Prince Backed For Glasto!
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been confirmed as playing Hard Rock Calling again this year despite having had the plug pulled on them last year at Hyde Park. William Hill are offering 10/1 that killjoy organisers pull the plug early again this year at the Olympic Stadium.
"After last year's shenanigans, Bruce will certainly have one eye on the time but the organisers will surely want to avoid any negative publicity and we predict that this will all go off without a hitch", said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
William Hill have also seen a plunge on Prince headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday of Glastonbury. The singer has been slashed from 16/1 to 6/1 favourite to bag the popular closing slot and he is ahead of Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones - both 8/1.
"Prince was due to play a couple of years ago, but the Glasto organisers narrowly missed out on him," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "It looks like they may have got their man second time around."
Who will headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on the Sunday: 6/1 Prince; 8/1 Fleetwood Mac; 8/1 The Rolling Stones; 10/1 Radiohead; 12/1 Bob Dylan; 12/1 Kasabian; 12/1 Kings of Leon; 12/1 Lady Gaga; 12/1 The Killers; 14/1 Adele; 14/1 Muse; 14/1 Paul McCartney; 14/1 The Smiths; 16/1 Coldplay; 16/1 Florence and the Machine; 16/1 Mumford and Sons; 16/1 U2; 20/1 AC/DC; 25/1 Arctic Monkeys; 33/1 Eminem; 33/1 Oasis; 50/1 Bon Iver; 100/1 The Spice Girls; 200/1 PSY; 500/1 Justin Bieber
