X Factor set to dominate Christmas number one
The Simon Cowell machine appears to have bounced back after last year's glitch and Matt Cardle is now a 1/33 certainty to have the Christmas No.1 this year with William Hill.
The X Factor winner is already odds on to win in 2011 at 1/2. Hills are even offering 5/1 that the show produces every Christmas one up to & including 2015 and 25/1 that the X Factor winner has the next eleven Christmas number one singles.
"We think 2009 was a one off and Simon Cowell really has killed off one of the most iconic festive flutters," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
