Euro 2016 Qualifiers: Oct 9 - 11

England v San Marino

  • England have scored 26 goals in four previous meetings with San Marino, conceding once.
  • San Marino have not scored in an away qualifying match since April 2001.
  • England have not lost a qualifying match since a 1-0 defeat in Ukraine in 2009, winning 13 and drawing seven of their 20 games since then.
  • England have not lost a qualifier at Wembley since a 3-2 defeat against Croatia in 2007, winning 11 and drawing three of their 14 matches since then.
  • San Marino have lost every one of their last 64 qualifying matches, since a 1-1 draw at Latvia in 2001

  • Gareth Bale has now scored 11 goals in his last 15 appearances for Wales.

Republic of Ireland v Gibraltar

  • This match will be Martin O'Neill's first competitive game at home as manager.
  • Gibraltar will play in only their sixth official international, with their only win so far being a 1-0 friendly victory over Malta in June 2014 (L3 D1).
  • Republic of Ireland are looking to win three successive international matches for the first time since November 2011.
  • Gibraltar shipped seven goals in their opening qualifier against Poland, six of those came after half-time.

  • Scotland's defeat in Germany was their first in seven internationals (W4 D2).
  • Georgia scored just twice in four games  away from home in their last qualification campaign for the 2014 World Cup.

  • Scotland have conceded just four goals in their last six matches.

Northern Ireland v Faroe Islands

  • Northern Ireland are unbeaten in their four previous internationals against Faroe Islands (W2 D2).
  • Faroe Islands have lost 16 of their last 18 internationals, winning just one of these games (D1) - a 4-1 away win at minnows Gibraltar.
  • Northern Ireland have won only one of their last nine international games (L6 D2), but this victory came in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier against Hungary.
  • Northern Ireland have kept just one clean sheet in their last 15 competitive internationals.
  • Faroe Islands have picked up just one point in their last 14 qualifying matches (World Cup and Euro Champs combined) - losing 13 and drawing one.
  • Kyle Lafferty scored and assisted a goal in Northern Ireland's win over Hungary.
  • Lafferty also conceded the joint-most fouls in the opening round of matches (6).
  • Faroe Islands keeper Gunnar Nielsen made more saves than any other keeper in the first round of qualifiers for Euro 2016 (11).
