England 15/2 to be drawn against France in World Cup Qualifying

With the World Cup 2014 qualifying draw due to take place on Saturday, William Hill are offering 15/2 that England get drawn against former winners, France. 5/2 is offered for the hosts of the tournament, Brazil, go on to win it. Current world champions, Spain are the 5/1 second favourites ahead of Argentina at 6/1 and Germany at 11/1. England are 16/1 behind the four and Holland at 12/1. Republic of Ireland are 200/1, while Scotland are 300/1. Wales and Northern Ireland are both offered at 1000/1 to win the World Cup.

"England have generally performed well in qualifying, but should they get drawn against France, their odds will be expected to drift considerably," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.

England will, of course, have a new manager at the helm when they start their qualifying campaign and Hills make Harry Redknapp the 6/4 favourite to get the gig followed by Martin O'Neill at 6/1, Gareth Southgate at 8/1 and Roy Hodgson at 9/1.
