West Ham Premier League guide: The latest fixtures, results, team news and West Ham odds
West Ham ran a resurgent Liverpool side close midweek, losing 1-0 at Anfield following a 1-1 draw at Southampton the previous weekend. Declan Rice was the Hammers’ goalscorer and the away side dominated possession and chances but couldn’t find another breakthrough.
Even after the defeat to Liverpool, West Ham are comfortably in midtable and just a few wins away from potentially closing in on the top six. After a slow start to the season, David Moyes’ side look more like the team that were so impressive during the previous campaign.
We’ve taken a look at all you need to know about West Ham – from their next league game, to the latest football betting odds.
When is the next West Ham Premier League fixture?
West Ham are at home on Monday Night Football, hosting Bournemouth in a 20:00 kick-off at London Stadium. The Hammers have never lost against Bournemouth under David Moyes, and won the last Premier League encounter with them 4-0 in January 2020. Club favourite Mark Noble scored twice that day, with Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson also hitting the back of the net.
The Cherries, newly-promoted from the Championship, have made a good start to their season but West Ham can overtake them with a win on Monday. Can the Hammers pull it off?
What are the odds that West Ham win their next game?
West Ham are 11/20 favourites to beat Bournemouth on Monday despite starting the game behind the Cherries in the Premier League table. There’s no case of Monday Blues as far as the Hammers are concerned: the London side have won their last five Premier League games that have taken place on this day. Bournemouth, though, are unbeaten in their last three Premier League away games – a draw on Monday is 3/1.
Gianluca Scamacca is West Ham’s leading scorer in all competitions so far this campaign, with six goals to his name. He’s scored in his previous two Premier League home games and could become the first Hammers player to score in each of his first three home starts since Diafra Sakho in October 2014. Scamacca is 7/2 to get the opener, and a West Ham win with Scamacca scoring any time is 15/8.
The Hammers have only scored twice in the first half in their Premier League games so far this season – the lowest amount in the league. We have 8/1 on Bournemouth to be ahead at half-time but West Ham to rally back to win or draw.

What is the latest West Ham injury and transfer news?
Lucas Paqueta has picked up a shoulder injury that makes him a major doubt for Monday’s game, but he has an outside chance of being available. West Ham are hopeful to have Maxwel Cornet back after a calf injury, and the extra days’ rest should allow Craig Dawson to shake off his dead leg in time for the game.
Who are West Ham’s key players?
Jarrod Bowen was on fire last season, netting 12 Premier League goals and chipping in with plenty of assists. Michail Antonio is a powerful presence up top, while Declan Rice is one of the world’s finest holding midfielders. Italian international Gianluca Scamacca was a summer signing from Sassuolo and adds yet more physicality – as well as finesse – to the Hammers’ attack.

What are the West Ham odds to finish in the top six of the Premier League?
The Hammers just missed out on the top six last season, but are now 9/1 to finish there after a difficult first few weeks of the new Premier League campaign. With better injury luck and the extra depth added by their new signings, they will certainly be targeting going one better than last year’s 7th place.
Who is the manager of West Ham?
David Moyes’ tenure at West Ham gets better year by year, with the Scot building a strong side at London Stadium. After qualifying for Europe in 2020/21, he guided the Hammers to the Europa League semi-final last season, and had his side challenging for the Champions League places deep into the season.
Where is West Ham’s stadium?
Built as the London Olympic Games in 2012, London Stadium became West Ham’s new home in 2016 as they bid an emotional farewell to their long-time residency at the Boleyn Ground. London Stadium holds 60,000 fans and is situated in the revitalised Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
